The YVN 002 began as a bag built for a very specific sporting setting—where carrying small boxed items neatly and securely matters.
What surprised us was what happened next: people who had no connection to that world saw it simply as a beautiful, premium tool tote—and many wanted it for everyday use. That’s why we chose to offer it as a general-release piece.

It’s structured, sculptural, and quietly bold—equally at home in town or on a weekend outing. As with all YVN pieces, it’s made in small batches with careful handwork, so it carries both function and presence.

A premium structured tote designed for “no-digging” access—crafted in pit-tanned Himeji leather and wet-molded for a sculptural, upright shape.

A. No—this size won’t fit a 13" laptop. However, an iPad mini and your daily essentials (wallet, phone, keys, small pouch, etc.) fit comfortably with room to spare. It’s designed for a light, organized carry rather than a full work setup.

A. We apply a subtle matte acrylic topcoat. It helps keep the surface from becoming overly shiny and makes small scratches less noticeable, so the bag maintains a calm, refined look as you use it. Over time, you’ll still see natural character and depth develop—just in a more “grown-up” way.

Q8. What’s the best care routine for pit-tanned leather?
A. Very little is needed. If it gets dusty or dirty, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth or use a soft brush. Avoid over-drying (especially near heaters or in direct sun for long periods). An occasional light conditioning is recommended to keep it comfortable and long-lasting—think of it as simple care that helps the leather age beautifully for years.
